To Whom It May Concern:
I’ve had the opportunity to experience a few other whitewater rafting companies and have facilitated countless school trips; none have compared to your facility, expertise, attitude, or service. I was extremely impressed with the quality of your facility, the condition and cleanliness of the grounds and the overall attitude of the guides and staff. Facilitating a class trip is not an easy task, especially with a group of graduated seniors. You made it easy and simple for the staff that accompanied the W.H. S. graduates. We were never without an activity or event to keep us occupied. Job well done!

PS. I have also recommended your facility for next year’s class.

*Have fun THIS FALL ... make installation payments later!

maine white water raftingSetting the tone with your new students early in the school year is imperative for a good educational experience. Realizing that the fall is the time of the year when fund-raising has not occurred and the money may not be available to do class trips, Adventure Bound is willing to work with your class to make the fall experience possible. With an INITIAL 25% DEPOSIT on your reservation, we can defer payments throughout the school year while fund-raising occurs. By doing this we can help you create an experience that will benefit you as a teacher and your students not only the rest of the year but for the rest of their lives.

Here is what the Livermore Falls Junior High 8th Grade Teachers had to say:
Last fall our 8th grade team tried something unique with our incoming class. We took them on a three-day outdoor adventure program with Adventure Bound. The kids were faced with an orienteering course, they worked together through initiative exercises on the ropes course, challenged themselves individually on the climbing wall, and learned hands-on basic whitewater skills; all with the underlying theme of developing as a team while gaining valuable self-esteem. The days were full of highly exciting activities, and the nights were spent on group initiatives and self-assessment. The result was amazing. This class still talks of their Adventure Bound experience as the best thing they had ever done. The effect on the group was very surprising; different leaders emerged, greater acceptance of differences occurred and understanding of students and teachers needs was verified. We also saw friendships develop that never would have and cliques disappeared altogether. We are already planning our next program. It was agreed by our staff that the time to do this was the fall and not the spring. This program set the tone and developed the trust that has bonded us the entire year.
